The comparison of key figures between laboratories, known as “benchmarking”, helps to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement. The assessment of one’s own performance through benchmarking has therefore become considerably more important.

Speaker
Dr. Wolf-Christian Gerstner is Managing Director of Geniu and has conducted more than 100 benchmarking studies. He has also developed Geniu’s unique benchmarking methodology and conducted more than 150 laboratory optimization projects in Europe, USA and Asia. He is a speaker at international conferences on topics such as lab optimization, lean lab and benchmarking and is on the jury of the “Excellence in Lab Optimization” award.
