The system was set up at the Fraunhofer ISC in W\u00fcrzburg in 2020 for further testing purposes in order to collect additional data during ongoing practical operation. The initial results are very promising: the system delivers nanoparticles of significantly better quality than manual synthesis in the laboratory.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The next step was to publicize this innovative technology. This is where the prize in the form of training and consulting services from Geniu came in handy. An online workshop was designed for the project team in which best practices for successful case studies were presented and implementation was discussed using the APRONA project. Dr. Wolf-Christian Gerstner, Managing Director of Geniu and an expert in operational excellence in laboratories, moderated the workshop. The participants were satisfied with the results of the workshop: &#8220;We now have a much better understanding of what information is relevant for potential customers,&#8221; said Dr. J\u00f6rn Probst from Fraunhofer ISC. His team colleague Dr. Dembski expressed a similar opinion: &#8220;I thought the workshop was very good. We now have a good plan on how to create a convincing case study&#8221;.     <\/p>\n\n<p>In 2021, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geniu.com\/en\/award-for-optimization-in-the-laboratory-labvolution-award\/\" title=\"Weitere Informationen\">Labvolution Award<\/a> will once again be presented by Geniu together with Deutsche Messe and Laborpraxis. The application phase runs until the end of June. New this year is a special prize for students and doctoral candidates.
